Welcome to my website, which describes my various railway activities, in the garden and elsewhere.
I'm a member of Southport Model Railway Society, based in Southport, Merseyside, UK, and look after the club's website.
My main modelling interest is 32mm and 45mm garden railways - see here for the latest incarnation, the St Aubyn Light Railway.
In my (increasingly fictional) spare time I am the health and safety officer for the Corris Railway and do occasional firing and guarding on the West Lancashire Light Railway. I also run the 16mm layout Hundred End at West Lancs.
I'm a member of the Welsh Highland Railway, and was involved in a small way in rebuilding the trackwork. I also belong to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Society, and have travelled with Darjeeling Tours three times to visit the DHR and other parts of India.
